Myself, i would just use Foobar2000 to split the file, and it has the built-in function 'Bit compare tracks' that can make sure the split files are identical to the 1 file+CUE. I noticed that I can import it into MB, but it is treated there as 'one block' with 22 individual tracks which can NOT be edited individually. I did discover that if I select the individual split files (as MC displays them, not the full, uncut single flac file) and chose convert files on those, I can select the format to convert to (flac in this case) and MC will convert them into actual individual files.
